The Supreme Court Collegium resolved to recommend the appointment of several advocates as Judges of the Rajasthan High Court.

The resolution was dated March 05, 2025.

The advocates recommended for appointment are:

  1. Shri Anand Sharma
  2. Shri Sunil Beniwal
  3. Shri Sandeep Taneja
  4. Shri Mukesh Rajpurohit
  5. Shri Sandeep Shah
  6. Shri Baljinder Singh Sandhu
  7. Ms. Sheetal Mirdha

In another resolution, the Supreme Court Collegium recommended the repatriation of Justice Atul Sreedharan from the Jammu and Kashmir High Court back to his parent court, the Madhya Pradesh High Court.

Justice Sreedharan had been transferred to Jammu and Kashmir in April 2023 after requesting the transfer due to his daughter beginning her law practice in Madhya Pradesh. The Collegium has now decided to transfer him back to his original jurisdiction.

The statement dated March 06, 2025 read, “The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on 06th March, 2025 has recommended repatriation of Mr. Justice Atul Sreedharan, Judge, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, to his parent High Court i.e. High Court of Madhya Pradesh.”
