Andhra Pradesh High Court
The Andhra Pradesh High Court was established in the year 1954 with its principal seat at Guntur upon formation of the State. The High Court with its principal seat at Hyderabad was established in 1956 after the Hyderabad State and the Andhra State were merged. After the bifurcation of the State in 2014, the High Court functioned as the Common High Court for the States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Thereafter, the High Court for Andhra Pradesh came into existence in 2018 and started functioning, with its principal seat at Amaravati.
