The Chief Justice of India and the Judges of the Supreme Court of India have designated seven former Judges of the High Courts as Senior Advocates with effect from May 20, 2026.

The decision emanates from a Full Court Meeting held on May 20, 2026.

The list of designated Senior Advocates is as follows:

  • Justice Debabrata Dash, Former Judge, High Court of Orissa
  • Justice Khwairakpam Nobin Singh, Former Judge, High Court of Manipur
  • Justice Mahboob Ali, Former Judge, High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
  • Justice N. Nagaresh, Former Judge, High Court of Kerala
  • Justice Shrikant Dattatraya Kulkarni, Former Judge, High Court of Bombay
  • Justice V.G. Arun, Former Judge, High Court of Kerala
