In a tweet, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju has notified the appointment of Additional Judges and Judges in the High Courts of Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The Law Ministry has also notified the transfer of two High Court Judges.

The details of the appointment are as follows-

Chhattisgarh High Court

• Judicial Officer Sanjay Kumar Jaiswal appointed as Additional Judge of Chhattisgarh High Court

Delhi High Court

• Judicial Officer Girish Kathpalia appointed as Additional Judge of Delhi High Court

• Judicial Officer Manoj Jain appointed as Additional Judge of Delhi High Court

Madhya Pradesh High Court

• Judicial Officer Roopesh Chandra Varshney appointed as Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court

• Judicial Officer Anuradha Shukla appointed as Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court

• Judicial Officer Sanjeev Sudhakar Kalgaonkar appointed as Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. He is the Secretary General of the Supreme Court at present.

• Judicial Officer Prem Narayan Singh appointed as Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court

• Judicial Officer Achal Kumar Paliwal appointed as Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court

• Judicial Officer Hirdesh appointed as Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court

• Judicial Officer Avnindra Kumar Singh appointed as Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court

Uttarakhand High Court

• Advocate Rakesh Thapliyal appointed as Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court

• Advocate Pankaj Purohit appointed as Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court

• Judicial Officer Vivek Bharti Sharma appointed as Judge of the Uttarakhand High Court

Transfer of High Court Judges

• Justice Sanjeev Prakash Sharma, Judge of Patna High Court transferred as a Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court

• Justice Atul Sreedharan, Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court transferred as Judge of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh High Court.
