The Pra-Vidhika Legal Internship is an initiative by the BJP Legal Cell, designed to bridge the gap between the academic understanding of law and its practical application. This program offers law students a unique opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in real-life legal contexts, ensuring they gain hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the legal profession.

The Vidhayika Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for law students to gain first-hand experience in the legislative and governance process by working closely with a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Delhi.

The BJP Legal Cell is a wing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), focused on providing legal support, advice, and expertise to the party and its members. It plays a key role in addressing legal issues related to the party's activities, policies, and governance. The cell is responsible for offering legal guidance on constitutional matters, election law, legislative matters, and any legal challenges faced by the party or its representatives.

Expected work to perform:

- Conduct in-depth legal research on bills, state policies, and legal reforms relevant to Delhi and the assigned MLA’s constituency.

- Assisting in drafting questions, private member bills, and briefing notes for Assembly sessions.

- Reviewing government schemes, analyzing their legal implications, and suggesting improvements.

- Supporting the MLA in addressing legal issues raised by constituents, including RTIs, land rights, and local governance matters.

- Preparing detailed reports, case studies, and legal summaries for use in the MLA’s office and assembly debates.

BJP Legal Cell is now accepting applications for the Pra-Vidhika Internship for June, July, August, September, October, November, and December.

Batch 1 : 9th June - 8th July 2025

Batch 2 : 1st July – 30th July, 2025

Batch 3 : 1st Aug - 30th Aug, 2025

Batch 4 : 1st Sep – 30th Sep, 2025

Batch 5 : 1st Oct- 30th Oct 2025

Batch 6 : 1st Nov – 30th Nov 2025

Batch 7 : 1st Dec – 30th Dec, 2025

Location-

Delhi(Delhi District Courts, High Court, Supreme Court, Tribunals & Other Forums).

Application & Selection Details:

  • Invitation of the Application form for the internship
  • Applications will be shortlisted based on the year of study
  • Selected Applicants will receive the confirmation mail and information.
  • Interns will be sent to the offices of the Senior Advocates, Lawyers & Chambers.
  • The orientation programme will be commenced.
  • Workshops & Sessions will be organised exclusively for the interns.
  • Certificate of Internships will be provided at the end.

Note- Certificate of internship only will be provided once the internship is completed by the Applicant.
