The National Law University Odisha (NLUO) Centre For Poverty And Access To Justice(CPAJ) in collaboration with Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative(CHRI) is organising a Single Credit Course on 'Criminal Justice Institutions in India

Dates of event: 15th February to 24th February, 2022

No of participants: 40 students only

Course objective: The Centre aims at studying the barriers to access to justice with an emphasis on the groups disadvantaged due to inequality in their economic status, discrimination, and lack of legal awareness; and overcoming the barriers through State, Civil Society and policy Intervention.

Who can participate: All year Law Students (Preferably the students of 1st and 2nd-year students of 5-year law course, and 1st-year students of three-year law course & Students with interest in the area of Access to Justice

Resource person: Members of CHRI having undertaken research in the area, Retired Police and Prison Officers, representatives of City Core Group – Mumbai (steered by CHRI) and Civil Society members

Session mode: Online (Google Meet)
