The Ministry of Law and Justice has notified the appointment of Preeta Aravindan Krishnamma, Advocate as the Additional Judge of the Kerala High Court.

The Law Minister Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal announced this development on X on April 24, 2026

The tweet read, "In exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, the President of India, after consultation with Chief Justice of India, is pleased to appoint Smt. Preeta Aravindan Krishnamma, Advocate as an Additional Judge of the Kerala High Court."

The Supreme Court Collegium on April 14, 2026, had recommended her name along with 1 other to be appointed as Judges of the Kerala High Court. The name of the second advocate is yet to be notified by the Centre.
