The National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is inviting applications for the post of Consultant (Legal) – ED Secretariat, on a contractual basis.

Remuneration: Rs. 60,000-1,20,000/- per month

Educational Qualification: LL.M.

Experience: Post-qualification relevant work experience of at least 2 years, including 1 year of experience in the formulation of Public Health Policy.

Eligibility:

• A working knowledge of important health related laws.

• Excellent legal research, analysis, drafting and presentation skills.

• Ability to work individually with minimum supervision and on different assignments simultaneously to meet tight timelines.

• An understanding of the public health structure and systems in India.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

• Computer proficiency with high level of familiarity with commonly used packages like MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

• Published work in the area of law, health, or equity.

Desirable:

• Work experience in areas of health law and policy, including on issues of hospitals, healthcare, mental health, gender, sexuality, disability, HIV, TB, tobacco control etc.

• Research experience on relevant areas of law and health.
