The Mormugao Port Authority, Hedland Sada, Goa is inviting applications for the post of In-House Advocates, on a contractual basis.

Location: Goa

No. of Posts: 2 (One each for Senior Advocate & Junior Advocate)

Remuneration:

• Sr. Adv.: Rs. 50,000/- per month

• Jr. Adv.: Rs. 30,000/- per month

Educational Qualification: LL.B. Degree and enrolled as an Advocate.

Experience for Senior Advocate:

(i) 4 years of experience in handling cases related to Public Premises (Eviction of unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 and Rules 1972 after completion of LLB or equivalent.

(ii) The candidate applying for the post of In house Advocates at MPA must possess working experience of 4 years under a Senior Lawyer, Law Firm or independent practice having knowledge of drafting various types of documents.

(iii) The candidate must have thorough knowledge of Public Premises (Eviction of unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 and Rules 1972.

(iv) The procedure of Eviction, powers and functions of the Estate Officer under the Public Premises (Eviction of unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 and Rules 1972.

(v) The candidate must have writing abilities, and knowledge of computers.

Experience for Junior Advocate:

(i) 2 years of experience in handling cases related to Public Premises (Eviction of unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 and Rules 1972 after completion of LLB or

(ii) The candidate applying for the post of In house Advocates at MPA must possess working experience of 2 years under a Senior Lawyer, Law Firm or independent practice having knowledge of drafting various types of documents.

(iii) The candidate must have thorough knowledge of Public Premises (Eviction of unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 and Rules 1972.

(iv) The procedure of Eviction, powers and functions of the Estate Officer under the Public Premises (Eviction of unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 and Rules 1972.

(v) The candidate must have writing abilities, and knowledge of computers.
