No of Post: 43 (UR-26, EWS-4, OBC-8, SC-4, ST-1, PwBD-1)

Age limit: Not exceeding 35 years for General Category candidates as on normal closing date. Not exceeding 35 years for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates,38 years for Other Backward Class candidates, 40 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on normal closing date in case of vacancies reserved for them. Relaxable for regularly appointed Central/UT Government Servant up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by Central Government from time to time. Salary: as per 7th CPC Level-10 (Rs. 56100-177500) in the Pay Matrix. Pre-revised Pay Band -3 (Rs. 15600-39100 Grade Pay of Rs. 5400/-) (Total emoluments excluding T.A. & HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs. 56,100/- plus DA as applicable per month approximately).

Educational Qualification: Degree in Law of a recognized University (qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified), Seven years practice at the Bar in conducting criminal cases.
