Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of law officer purely on contractual basis initially for a period of one year.

No of post: 20 (Gen.-7, SC-3, BCA-2, BCB-2, EWS-2, ESM (Gen)-2, ESM (SC)-1, ESM (BCA)-1.


Age limit: Maximum age 42 years, however in case of reserve category candidates, 5 year relaxation as per Chief Secretary, Haryana Instructions dated 25.02.2022 shall be given.


Salary: Rs. 50,000/-


Essential Qualification:

(i) 1st Division in 10th and 12th.

(ii) LL.B with 1st Division from recognized university (English Medium).

(iii) (a) 3 years experience as an Advocate in the Hon'ble High Court.

OR

(b) 3 years experience on the post of Legal Assistant/ Law Officer in any Department/ Board/ Corporation/ Statutory Body/ Commission of Govt. of Haryana.

OR

(c) 3 years combined experience on (a) or (b).

(iv) Should have good command over English and proficiency in computers.

(v) Should have drafted writs/replies etc.

(vi) Candidate with higher qualifications in the legal field may be allowed weightage in selection criteria.

(vii) Candidate with experience in recruitment matters shall be preferred.
