The Home & Political Department: Dispur, Government of Assam is inviting applications for recruitment of Public Prosecutor (PP), Special Public Prosecutor (SPP), Additional Public Prosecutor (Addl. PP), and Assistant Public Prosecutor (Asst. PP).
Location: Dispur
No. of Posts: 26 (PP); 3 (SPP); 88 (Addl. PP); and 185 (Asst. PP).
Pay-Scale:
PP- Rs. 65,000-1,12,000/- per month
SPP- Rs. 30,000-1,10,000/- per month
Addl. PP- Rs. 30,000-1,10,000/- per month
Asst. PP- Rs. 30,000-1,10,000/- per month
Educational Qualification: LL.B.
Eligibility:
PP- Must have practiced as a regular Advocate for not less than 8 (eight) years including practice before the High Court basically on the criminal side.
SPP- Must have practiced as a regular Advocate for not less than 7 (seven) years including practice before the High Court basically on the criminal side.
Addl. PP- Must have practiced as an Advocate for not less than 7 (seven) years including practice before High Court basically on the criminal side.
Asst. PP- Must have practiced as an Advocate for not less than 7 (seven) years including practice before High Court basically on the criminal side.
Age Limit: 21-38 years
