The District Court, Chittoor is inviting applications for the posts of Special Judicial Magistrates.
Location: Andhra Pradesh
No. of Posts: 11
Remuneration: Rs. 45,000/- per month and Rs. 5,000/- per month towards conveyance.
Educational Qualification: LL.B.
Eligibility: A person -
1. who has held any post in A.P. Higher Judicial Services or State Judicial Services and retired or resigned; or
2. who has held a post of Section Officer and above in the Andhra Pradesh High Court Service and has Law Degree; or
3. who has held a post in the A.P. Judicial Ministerial Services not below the rank of Superintendent of District Court or Senior Civil Judge's Court or Junior Civil Judge's Court and has a law degree; or
4. a non-practicing Advocate with a practice at the Bar of not less than five years standing and who is above 45 years of age; or
5. any retired Gazetted Officer possessing Law Degree or who has passed the Criminal Judicial Test (Full test consisting of Indian Penal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure) conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission and who has exercised Magisterial powers during his tenure of service for not less than three years.
6. And who has at least one year to complete 65 years, of age at the date fixed by the Court in the year of recruitment shall alone be eligible. Provided that a suitable retired Judicial Officer shall be preferred.
