The Calcutta High Court is inviting applications for the post of Translator (for translating judgments from English to Bengali) on a purely contractual basis.

Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- per month

Educational Qualification:

1. The candidate shall be a Law Graduate (LL.B.) of any UGC recognized university in India securing minimum 50% marks on the aggregate.

2. The candidate should also have passed in Class 10th & 12th standard from any recognized Board/Council with Bengali as one of the vernacular languages and English as one of the subjects.

Desirable: The candidate should have computer knowledge including ability of typing.

Age Limit: 25-65 years
