The Advocates' Association, Bengaluru will felicitate Justice Abhay S. Oka and Justice B. V. Nagarathna in a function to be held at Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru on September 4th at 5.30 pm. Sri. Basavaraj Bommai, the Chief Minister of Karnataka and Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court will be the Chief Guests at the function.

There were two judges from Karnataka among the nine Judges who took oath on August 31st. Justice Abhay Oka is the seniormost among the nine Justices while Justice B. V. Nagarathna is set to become the first woman Chief Justice of Indian in the year 2027.


The Advocate General of the State, Senior Advocate Prabhuling Navadgi will be Guest of Honour at the function that will be presided by Sri. A. P. Ranganatha, the President of the Association.

The function will be followed by high tea at 6.30 pm.
