Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Transfer Of Justice Shree Chandrashekhar From Jharkhand To Rajasthan High Court
The Supreme Court Collegium comprising Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud, Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Justice B R Gavai, Justice Surya Kant, and Justice Aniruddha Bose resolved to recommend the transfer of Justice Shree Chandrashekhar from the Jharkhand High Court to the Rajasthan High Court.
Justice Shree Chandrashekhar, senior-most judge of the High Court by a communication dated 29 December 2023, had requested for his transfer.
Following a request, the collegium has decided to recommend his transfer to the Rajasthan High Court.
The notification dated December 29, 2023 read, “Acceding to his request, the Collegium resolves to recommend that Mr Justice Shree Chandrashekhar, be transferred to the Rajasthan High Court.”
