The Supreme Court Collegium has resolved to recommend the transfer of Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma from the Delhi High Court to the Calcutta High Court.

This decision was made during a Collegium meeting held on March 27.

Justice Sharma began his judicial career in 1992 when he joined the Delhi Judicial Service. He was later elevated to the Higher Judicial Service in 2003. Over the years, he has held several significant positions, including serving as the Registrar General of the Delhi High Court and the Principal District & Sessions Judge of New Delhi.

Justice Sharma was appointed as a judge of the Delhi High Court on February 28, 2022.
