The Telangana High Court granted the permission to conduct the Lord Sri Veera Hanuman Vijaya Yatra in Nirmal District on the eve of Hanuman Jayanthi.

The petition, filed under Section 151 CPC, requested the High Court to suspend ongoing proceedings and authorize the conducting of Lord Sri Veera Hanuman Vijaya Yatra in Nirmal District on the eve of Hanuman Jayanthi.

A Bench of Justice B. Vijaysen Reddy held, “Respondent Nos..l and 5 are directed to permit the petitioner to take out Lord Sri Veera Hanuman Vijava Yatra on 23.04.2021 on the eve of Sri Hanuman Jayanthi in Tanoor Village, Nirmal Mandal, Nirmal District, in the following route: "Starting from Vittaleshwar Mandir -Bus Stand - Telangana Grameena Bank - Kolli Galli - Post Office - ending at Vittaleshwar Temple”.

The petitioner cited a previous event, the Lord Sri Rama Shobha Yatra, held in similar circumstances in Tanur Village and Mandal, Nirmal District pursuant to a court order, which transpired peacefully without any untoward incidents.

Advocate Abhinav Krishna Uppaluri appeared for the Petitioner.

The Petitioner's counsel highlighted the peaceful conduct of the previous Yatra, which was not contested by the Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

In light of this, the Court directed respondent Nos. 1 and 5 to permit the petitioner to organize the Lord Sri Veera Hanuman Vijaya Yatra on April 23, 2024, outlining a specific route for the procession.

Additionally, the Court imposed certain conditions:

  1. Prohibition on playing music within 150 meters of nearby mosques.
  2. Ensuring that individuals with criminal backgrounds do not participate in the Yatra.
  3. Participants are instructed not to make any communal, politically sensitive, or provocative statements during the event.

The Court set the next hearing for April 29, 2024.
