The Ministry of Law and Justice has notified the appointment of two judicial officers as judges of the Delhi High Court.

The individuals appointed are:

  1. Renu Bhatnagar
  2. Rajneesh Kumar Gupta

These appointments followed the recommendations made by the Supreme Court Collegium during a meeting on February 5.

The notification dated February 19, 2025 read, “In exercise of the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint (i) Smt. Renu Bhatnagar and (ii) Shri Rajneesh Kumar Gupta to be Judges of the Delhi High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.”
