The Ministry of Law and Justice has notified the appointment of Judicial Officer Vinai Kumar Dwivedi as the Judge of the Allahabad High Court.

The Law Minister, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, announced the development on X (formerly Twitter). The tweet read, "In exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, the President of India, after consultation with Chief Justice of India, is pleased to appoint Shri Vinai Kumar Dwivedi, Judicial Officer as a Judge of the Allahabad High Court. I convey my best wishes to him."

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended his name earlier this month.
