The Ministry of Law and Justice has notified the appointment of Advocate Ajay Sharma as the Additional Judge for the Bombay High Court.

The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting held on 26th October 2026, had recommended his name.

The Law Minister, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, announced this development today on X. His tweet read, "In exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, the President of India, after consultation with Chief Justice of India, is pleased to appoint Shri Ajay Sharma, Advocate as an Additional Judge of the Bombay High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office."
