Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Nine Advocates To Be Appointed As Judges At Calcutta High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium has resolved to recommend the appointment of nine advocates as judges in the Calcutta High Court.

The Collegium took this decision at a meeting held on May 11 and 12, 2026.

The names of the nine advocates recommended by the Collegium are:

Shri Indranil Roy,
Shri Aryak Dutt,
Shri Atarup Banerjee,
Shri Sandip Kumar De,
Shri Partha Pratim Roy,
Shri Sudip Deb,
Shri Anuj Singh,
Shri Arjun Ray Mukherjee, and
Shri Rishad Medora.
