New Delhi Municipal Council Invites Applications For Legal Vacancies
|The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) is inviting applications for the posts of Chief Legal Advisor (CLA), Law Officer (LO), Additional Law Officer (ALO), and Deputy Law Officer (DLO) on a deputation basis. The deputation period is three years.
Location: New Delhi
No. of Posts: One each (Total 4)
Pay-Scale:
• CLA: Rs. 1,44,200-2,18,200/- per month
• LO: Rs. 78,800-2,08,700/- per month
• ALO: Rs. 67,700-2,08,700/- per month
• DLO: Rs. 47,600-1,51,100/- per month
Educational Qualification: LL.B.
Eligibility:
1. CLA:
Deputation (including short term contract) Officers of the Central/State Govt./UTs/ Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organization:
(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/deptt; or
(ii) with two years’ Service in the grade Rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Scale of pay of Level-13-A as per 7th CPC pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/deptt.; and
(b) possessing following qualifications and experience:
(i) Degree in law from a recognized university or equivalent;
(ii) 15 years’ experience of legal matters.
2. LO:
Officers of the Central/ State Governments/UTs:
(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department or
(ii) With five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Level 11 as per 7th CPC pay matrix in the parent cadre/ department and
(b) possessing following qualifications and experience:
(i) Degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent.
(ii) 10 years’ experience of legal works.
3. ALO:
Officers of the Central/State Governments/UTs:
(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre/ department; or
(ii) with five years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Level-10 as per 7th CPC pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department; or
(iii) with 7 years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Level 7 as per 7th CPC pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre / department or
(iv) With 8 years’ service in the graded rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Level 6 as per 7th CPC pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department: or
(b) Possessing following qualifications and experience:
(i) Degree in Law from recognized university or equivalent.
(ii) 5 years’ experience of legal work in Govt./Public Sector Undertaking / Local Bodies. The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotional shall not be eligible for consideration for appoint on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
4. DLO:
Officers under the Central/State Government/UTs:
(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular/basis in the parent cadre/department; or
(ii) with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in the Level 6 as per 7th CPC pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre/department.
(b) Possessing following qualifications and experience:
(i) Degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent;
(ii) 3 years’ experience of Legal Work in a Govt. Deptt./ Local Bodies/ Semi Govt.
Age Limit: 56 years
