The Ladakh Subordinate Services Staff Selection Board (LSSSSB) is inviting applications for the posts of Legal Assistant (LA) and Junior Legal Assistant (JLA).

Location: The candidates selected for appointment are liable to serve anywhere in Administration of Union Territory (UT) of Ladakh.

No. of Posts:

• LA: 12

• JLA: 8

Pay-Scale:

• LA: Rs. 35,900-1,13,500/- per month

• JLA: Rs. 35,600-1,12,800/- per month

Educational Qualification: LL.B.

Eligibility for Legal Assistant: Enrolment as an Advocate in any Bar for two years or with two years’ experience in dealing with legal matters in any Government Department/Government Organisation/PSU. (Explanation: Bachelor's Degree in Law shall mean: LL.B. 3 years (professional)/ 5 years’ LL.B, integrated Course)

Age Limit: 40 years
