Pay-Scale: Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000/- per month
Educational Qualification: Degree in Law (full time) with minimum 50% marks from recognized University/Institute in India.
Experience: 23 years (CGM); 21 years (GM)
• Minimum 21 years post qualification relevant experience (at least 5 years in a Senior Management position) for General Manager
Or
• Minimum 23 years post qualification relevant experience (at least 5 years in a Senior Management position) for Chief General Manager in any of the following organization/entities:
1. As Full Time Officer/ Executive in the Legal Department of the Public Sector undertaking or a statutory corporation.
2. As Full Time Officer/ Executive in the Legal Department in a Central / State Governments/Undertaking/Institution.
3. As Full time Officer/ Executive in the Legal Department in a Central / State Regulatory Body.
4. As a Judicial Officer in the Judicial Service of any State.
5. As full time Executive/ Officer in the Legal Department of a Listed*Private Sector Organization/Company of repute.
Note: Candidates working in Public Sector Undertaking/ Government must have minimum one year experience in the next lower pay scale or next equivalent pay scale.
Eligibility: Candidate should have experience of working in any of the following areas:
I. Arbitration (including commercial arbitration) & Conciliation matter, Industrial /Labour Law matters and other dispute resolution mechanisms.
II. Drafting & Vetting various Legal or contractual documents, providing legal opinions, handling legal matters pertaining to Mergers, Acquisitions & Joint Ventures, Regulatory matters etc.
III. Handling litigation (Civil, Consumer and Criminal) before different Judicial/Quasi Judicial Forums.
If all things are equal, preference will be given to candidates having experience in Oil & Gas /Petrochemical Industry.
