Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Transfer Of Four Chief Justices Across Different High Courts

The Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting dated May 26, 2025 resolved to recommend the transfer of four Chief Justices of various High Courts to different High Courts.

The recommended transfers include:

Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava, (PHC: Chhattisgarh High Court), presently the Chief justice at Rajasthan High Court has been proposed to be transferred to Madras High Court.
Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, (PHC: Jharkhand High Court), presently the Chief Justice of Tripura High Court has been proposed to be transferred to Telangana High Court.
Justice M.S. Ramachandra Rao, (PHC: Telangana High Court), presently the Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court has been proposed to be transferred to the
Tripura High Court.
Justice K.R. Shriram, (PHC: Bombay High Court) presently the Chief Justice of the Madras High Court has been proposed to be transferred to Rajasthan High Court.
