Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Names Of Three Advocates As Judges Of Rajasthan High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the names of three Advocates as Judges of the Rajasthan High Court.

The Collegium, in its meeting held today, approved the proposal for appointment of the following Advocates as Judges of the Rajasthan High Court:

(i) Bipin Gupta

(ii) Sanjeet Purohit

(iii) Ravi Chirania

The Collegium, for the purpose of recommending names of Judges of the High Courts, comprises Chief Justice BR Gavai, Justice Surya Kant and Justice Vikram Nath.

The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meeting dated May 26, 2025, had resolved to recommend the transfer of four Chief Justices of various High Courts to different High Courts. It had also resolved to recommend the elevation of five High Court judges as Chief Justices of various High Courts across the country.

After the Collegium resolved to recommend the elevation of three senior judges, including two Chief Justices of High Courts, to the Supreme Court of India, the Central Government notified the same today.
