Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Transfer Of Orissa High Court Judge To Allahabad High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the transfer of Justice Arindam Sinha from the Orissa High Court to the Allahabad High Court.

The recommendation was made during the Collegium's meetings on March 6, 2025, and March 20, 2025.

Justice Sinha, born on September 22, 1965, began his legal career when he enrolled as an advocate on March 11, 1991. He practiced law primarily at the Calcutta High Court for over two decades. He was appointed as an additional judge of the Calcutta High Court on October 30, 2013, and became a permanent judge there on March 14, 2016. On October 8, 2021, he took the oath as a judge of the Orissa High Court.
