Supreme Court Collegium Recommends Eight Judicial Officers, Three Judges For Permanent Appointments In Two Different High Courts

The Supreme Court Collegium has resolved to recommend the names of eight judicial officers as Judges of the Gujarat High Court.

The names recommended by the Collegium after a meeting held on the March 19, 2025, were:

Shri Liyakathussain Shamsuddin Pirzada,
Shri Ramchandra Thakurdas Vachhani,
Shri Jayesh Lakhanshibhai Odedra,
Shri Pranav Maheshbhai Raval,
Shri Mool Chand Tyagi,
Shri Dipak Mansukhlal Vyas,
Shri Utkarsh Thakorbhai Desai, and
Shri Rohenkumar Kundanlal Chudawala.

In another resolution passed by the Collegium on March 19, 2025 three additional judges of the Punjab and Haryana High Court were recommended to be made permanent.

The names of the judges are:

Shri Justice Sumeet Goel,
Smt. Justice Sudeepti Sharma, and
Ms. Justice Kirti Singh.
