Centre Notifies Transfer Of Seven High Court Judges Across Different High Courts

The Ministry of Law and Justice issued notifications regarding the transfer of seven High Court Judges across different High Courts:
- Justice Hemant Chandangoudar, Justice NSS Gowda, Justice Krishnan Natarajan and Justice Dixit Krishna Shripad from the Karnataka High Court are transferred to the Madras, Gujarat, Kerala and Orissa High Courts, respectively.
- Justice K Manmadha Rao and Justice P Sree Sudha, from the Andhra Pradesh High Court and Telangana High Court, respectively, are transferred to the Karnataka High Court.
- Justice Kasoju Surendhar Alias K Surender from the Telangana High Court is transferred to the Madras High Court.
The President of India, exercising the power conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, ordered the transfer of seven Judges to various High Courts.
The official notification was published on the Ministry's website on May, 01, 2025.
The Supreme Court Collegium, in its meetings held on April 15 and April 19, 2025, had resolved to recommend the transfer of these Judges.
