The Supreme Court Collegium has resolved to recommend the appointment of four judicial officers and five advocates to be the judges of three different High Courts.

The Collegium made this decision in its meeting held on August 18, 2026, headed by the Chief Justice of India. The recommendations are as follows:

Orissa High Court:

Advocates as Judges-

1. Smt. Sasmita Tripathy,

2. Shri Aditya Narayan Das,

3. Shri Rajjeet Roy, and

4. Shri Gautam Misra.

Chhattisgarh High Court:

Judicial Officers as Judges-

1. Shri Santosh Sharma,

2. Smt. Sushma Sawant, and

3. Shri Sudhir Kumar. 

Gauhati High Court:

1. Advocate Shri Nchumbemo Mozhui

2. Judicial Officer Smt. Helen Dawngliani
