Public Prosecutor & Assistant Public Prosecutor Vacancies At Central Bureau Of Investigation
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is inviting applications for the posts of Public Prosecutor (PP) and Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.
Location: CBI’s Head Quarter at New Delhi. However, candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India.
No. of Posts: PP- 25; APP- 19
Pay-Scale:
• PP: Level- 10 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
• APP: Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC.
Educational Qualification: LL.B.
Experience for PP: Seven years’ practice at the Bar in conducting criminal cases.
Note: The post is permanent. General Central Service Group- “B” Gazetted, Non-Ministerial.
Age Limit: PP- 35 years; APP- 30 years
